Four challenges in gravitational-wave astronomy with neutron stars

The miniworkshop aims at identifing the next challenges in gravitational-wave astronomy with neutron stars and compact binaries. Informal talks, discussions and group working sessions will address four specific questions in four related topics.

There is no fee, registration is mandatory. The ideal max number of participants is about 50 (room capacity). Please, contact us to register.

How to reach Parma

  • The closest airports are in the Milano area (LIN,BGY,MXP) or Bologna (BLQ). From the airports one must continue by shuttle buses and trains.
  • For trains timetable and tickects check Trenitalia
  • Bus lines 7 and 21 connect the train station and the city center to the campus.Single tickets can be bought on board for extra charge, but better to buy a 8 rides one on bars/tobacco shops. Once at the campus, get off at the 2nd stop for the Physics building or at the 3rd stop for the Centro S.Elisabetta. Check the local transport website.
  • Once at the Campus, get out there at the 3rd and last stop in front of the tallest building. From the bus stop you see a country house close to some sport fields, thats the conference centre.
